The composition of the material includes carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur and 18% chromium and 8% nickel. However, due to the reduced carbon content, the A249 TP304L high temperature pipe has 201HB Brinell hardness and ductility, but also reduces the effect of carbon precipitation at the grain boundaries.
A249 TP304L stainless steel high temperature pipe is produced in a wide range of sizes, with an outer diameter of 19.05 mm and a wall thickness of 1.25 mm, which is a common size used in heating process systems such as heat exchangers, condensers, radiators, etc.
